When I want to make my fashion sketches all “glitter and glam” I use a secret weapon – sheer glitter nail polish!
Supplies:
Broad tip markers
Fine tip markers
Ultra fine point black marker
Sheer nail polish with glitter
1. Use broad tip marker to color larger areas first such as the coat, pants and overskirt, in addition to the circle embellishment detail on the pant leg. This sketch used yellowed orange, lime peel and deco yellow by Prismacolor®.
2. Follow by using fine tip marker on top for pattern and texture as seen in the glove detail as well as the belt and shoes. This sketch utilized crimson red by Prismacolor®.
3. Use an ultra fine point black marker for facial details, edging along the coat and pants and the stockings. This sketch used Prismacolor® premier ultra fine point black #005.
4. Apply a sheer nail polish with glitter to give a high glazed finish with sparkle for a final touch. This sketch has added glitter to the circle embellishment detail on the pant leg.
