Are you a high school senior with an eye for fashion? Do you see a design and think about seeing your own vision on the runway or red carpet? If so, “Fashion Forward 2009” is your chance. Just sketch your garment, pick out the fabrics and submit your design. Local winners each receive a $5,000 scholarship to attend the Academy school of their choice and a VIP trip to Chicago to attend the 2009 IMAGINE Fashion Show to see his or her winning design walk down the runway on a professional model as part of the show. The national winner will be awarded a FULL scholarship along with a trip to New York for Teen Vogue's Fashion University and be featured in an advertisement in Teen Vogue. This contest is in association with and special guest judging by Teen Vogue Magazine.

We received an overwhelming number of quality submissions this year so our decisions we especially difficult. At this point, all local winners have been reached. So if we haven't contacted you, we thank you for your submissions but unfortunately, you were not selected. However, feel free to still attend the upcoming sewing seminar planned at our schools in the next few weeks. In addition, we hope you will continue to learn about and consider IADT.
