- Inspiration:I designed this dress to wear for prom and am in the process of constructing it. I wanted to have a dress completely unique and all my own. I wanted it to stand out because of the design and the fabric.
- Fabric Details:100% silk; nylon/rayon/cotton lace with hand-sewn beads; 100% silk lining.
- Design Details:Back of dress has gathering at the seams.
- Judges Comments:Clearly met requirements in all categories: sketch is well-proportioned; outstanding job rendering fabric; choice of fabric very appropriate to design; inspiration statement reflects the look and feel of the garment; overall presentation represents desire for fashion.
