What to play?

There are a lot of games coming out this fall. I only own an XBox 360, so it is system heavy.
Gears 2 will be purchased day one next Friday 11-7, played through the weekend and I’m taking Monday 11-10 off to play it as well.
COD5 - I will purchase when all the boys are on-line playing it. I’m not looking forward to the WWII setting, but I’ll be there. Maybe used (finger’s crossed).
I never heard of Damnation and it looks to have taken the Lost Planet arcadey multiplayer fun and improved on the formula. I’ll keep my eye out for it.
James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace looks excellent. It was off my radar till I saw the multiplayer action.
Fallout was a day one purchase till I saw all these games are coming out week after week. I LOVED Oblivion, but Fallout 3 (being only a single player game) has been put on the buying shelf till January/February. By then, it will be used as well.
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts will be purchased the first week it comes out. If you pre-order it you receive a code for the original N64 game (and I LOVED that game). The one horrible thing with the XBox360 is their lack of platformers/"collecting" games, so I hope Banjo fills that void.
Far Cry 2 looks beautiful, never played the original. It is on the “find it used” pile. I do dig that the multiplayer component has map builder that you can make your own environments.
Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe is on the “find it Used” pile. It looks fun, but fighting games, for me, are just mindless button mashers.
You REALLY should check out the videos and concepts behind Left 4 Dead. Creators of Half Life, L4D is a survivor horror game (but the mutated creatures as fast moving and have a pack mentality) that you can play with three of your buddies coop. the whole game centers around sticking with your group and not letting anyone die. Supposedly the level of difficulty will adapt to the level of gameplay you and your group are doing. So if you are REALLY kicking major ass, the game knows to throw more grunts and harder bosses at you to ramp up the challenge. I also heard that the locations of enemy re-spawns, loot, weapon, health drops will always be changing. Also, in multiplayer, you can play as a zombie or human, which might be cool.
