Tuck or Untuck?

by: SilverMonk

I have kind of big ankles, and don't wear skinny peg legged jeans, for obvious reasons. My problem is that I want to tuck my jeans into my boots so they don't get snow all over them. So am I pretty much stuck with either buying jeans I wouldn't wear any other time of the year or watching my boot cut jeans get soaked and dirty? Is there are happy medium?
Does someone have the same problem? I even Googled my dilemma, no answers found there.

I would suggest taking the slacks to a tailor.

LL Bean snow boots are warm, waterproof, and durable. The soles are designed to help keep you from slipping on the ice, as well.

Why not just buy skinny jeans for your boot wearing? You will look fantastic and your big calves will be hidden and you'll be dry. Problem solved.

Real easy solution there. Simply get a boot with a wide width calf, that way you can tuck without having the bulk in the calf area. AND your ankles can still be supported.
