Batman: The Brave and the Bold: Vol. 1 - Classic DC Comics fun!!! Is NOT trying to be Bruce Timm’s Batman: The Animated Series. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is trying to bring the lightness and fun of the Brave and Bold comic series into it. The comic series would have Batman teaming up every issue with a different hero. It was wonderful because you could see Batman with a hero he normally isn’t paired with as well as fighting villains you never see him battle. Another great addition to this series is before the title sequence of every episode has Batman and a guest hero wrapping up another caper. It is like you get to see twice as many guest heroes and villains per episode.
